I started writing a haiku a day in July 2011 as a journaling project - a creative challenge that would also chronicle the ordinary moments of life. It has been a great discipline for encouraging me to think about the aspect of each day that stands out, and how to craft that into three lines of five, seven and five syllables.
Sept 18 - When A Small Person With A Cold And A Big Person With Ladder Injuries Decide To Take It Easy Together, Before One Of Them Heads Off With Old Peers Pals To Eat An Azumi Feast
We could ail alone
But why not ail together?
